    the town official designated to execute contracts as established by ordinance,
    deeds, and other documents, to represent the town in all agreements with
    other governmental entities or certifications to other governmental entities,
    and to perform such other functions as prescribed by law, ordinance, or
    resolutions of the Town Council but shall have no administrative duties except

The form of government of the Town of McIntosh shall be a Town Council and a Mayor.  
The Town Council shall serve as the legislative government body of the municipality.

The McIntosh Town Charter
provides for a nonpartisan Town
Council consisting of 5 Council
Members and a separately
elected Mayor who all serve
without compensation.  The
elected officials must be
electors of the town who have
resided continuously in the Town
for two years prior to qualifying
as candidates for office.   Terms
are staggered and last 4 years.
