| 20622 12th Street, McIntosh, FL 32664 McIntosh Water Tower Immediate Space Availability: The Town of McIntosh desires to market and manage availability of lease space on its water tower by entering into a long-term tower license agreement with a communications provider. McIntosh, located midway between Gainesville and Ocala in north-central Florida (latitude 29.4488 and longitude 82.2294) has space to lease on its existing elevated 75,000 gallon water tower which is fully owned by the Town. The tower would be an advantageous spot for placement of antenna or communications equipment for wireless or Wi-Fi service by a local or national wireless carrier. Additionally, the tower is located less than 3 miles east of I-75. (Parcel #02622-000-00 is .09 acres and #02623-001-00 is 1.26 acres.) The existing land elevation is estimated at 130' above sea level. Combined with the 117' tower height, total elevation would be approximately 247' above sea level. The Town would grant permission through negotiations to an interested provider to install, maintain, repair, and operate radio communications equipment, antennas, and related appurtenances for a contracted fee.
